I was seven years old when Michael Jackson debuted "Billie Jean" on Motown's 25th Anniversary show. I really do remember seeing him perform on the special. My parents grew up with the music of Motown in Thailand, so it's reasonable to think that they watched the special with us. Growing up, my sister and I watched a TON of TV, with and without our parents.
There is no doubt that the man could sing and dance. He really did influence an entire generation of singers and songwriters. For all of the craziness of his life, Michael Jackson truly made an impact on the world. RIP.
